The Airbelt incorporates turbo fan technology, compact design and functionality. It draws contaminated air through a special P3 filter and supplies a continous flow of clean air to the wearers headpiece. An integral electronic control unit continously monitors the operation of the system and provides a clear audible warning of any restriction in the air flow if it falls below the permissible safe level. When using a full facepiece or an airhood the unit automatically adjusts the airflow as required, resulting in improved filter life and increased battery life.
