A compressed air filtration panel suitable for filtering air to 1-4 persons from a compressed air source. Can be used in conjunction with various airfed respirators.
Compressed air is supplied from a compressor, stationed in an area of ambient clean air suitable for breathing. The compressor shall have sufficient reserve tank to allow the users to evacuate if the air supply fails ie: during a power failure.
The air stream passes through a pressure regulator to a filter panel before entering the respirator through a flexible hose.
The filter panel consists of three filters 1) Pre filter for particulates 2) Coalescing filter for mists and liquids 3) Carbon filter for odour removal.
