The Scout 2 is a chemical protective suit that can be used very quickly in the event of accidents in which chemical contamination can occur. Suitable for use by Industrial users, Fire brigades and disaster controllers are often unexpectedly exposed to dangerous chemical substances. If the situation requires a quick response there is generally no time for the procedure of putting on a complete chemical and gas-tight proof suit. For these situations NORTH has developed the Scout chemical protective rescue suit.
The two-piece Scout 2 consists of a brace trouser apron that can be pulled over the SCBA. The full-face mask can then be put on and the jacket, in the form of a jacket, can be put on over the head.
The Scout is made of flexible, comfortable Neoprene, which is known for its excellent chemical resistance and the mechanical strength of the material.
The Scout 2 is designed with the unique glove adapters. This makes it possible to provide the suits with gloves, which provides a liquid proof connection between arm and hand. The attached safety boots, rovided with steel sole and toecap, are available in sizes 43 and 46 (UK sizes 9 and 11). The jacket and brace trousers are available in sizes L (43) and XL (46).
